magnum Two-Factor Authentication - Online Casino with ShopeePay & e-wallet
Two-Factor Authentication on magnum adds a second verification step to your account login and withdrawal requests. When you enable this feature, we send a code to your phone — via SMS or an authenticator app — before allowing access to your funds. This layer of protection keeps your account secure even if someone learns your password.

We recommend Two-Factor Authentication for all magnum players, especially those who deposit using mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or bank virtual accounts. Once enabled, the process takes just a few seconds each time you log in or request a withdrawal. You control which verification method works best for you.
Why Enable Two-Factor Authentication on magnum
Your magnum account holds your payment details, transaction history, and access to funds. If someone gains your password — through phishing, password reuse, or a data leak — they can log in and withdraw your balance. Two-Factor Authentication stops this threat by requiring a second proof that you own the account.
When you deposit via DANA, e-wallet, or mobile banking, your account becomes a target because it contains an active link to your e-wallet. Virtual-account transfers to local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or mobile banking also flag your account as holding real money. Two-Factor Authentication is your first line of defense.
magnum Two-Factor Authentication protects both login and withdrawal
We ask for your second factor whenever you log in from a new device or when you request a withdrawal. This means even if your password is compromised, the attacker cannot move your funds without your phone.
How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication on magnum
We offer two methods to receive your second-factor code: SMS to your registered phone number, or a time-based code from an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
SMS-based Two-Factor Authentication
SMS Two-Factor Authentication is the simplest method. When you log in to magnum from a new browser or device, we text a six-digit code to your phone number. You enter that code on the login screen, and your session is approved. For withdrawals, we send another code to confirm the transaction.
SMS codes expire after subject to verification, so you must enter them quickly. If you do not receive a code, request a resend — magnum will text a new one within a few seconds. This method works anywhere you have a mobile signal or internet connection.
Authenticator App
Authenticator apps generate a new six-digit code every 30 seconds without needing a text message. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and similar apps all work on magnum. When you enable app-based Two-Factor Authentication, we show you a QR code on your Settings page. Scan that code with your authenticator app, and it begins generating codes.
Authenticator apps are faster than SMS and do not depend on mobile signal or text-message delays. If your phone is lost or stolen, codes are still inaccessible to an attacker because they are generated on your device only.
Switching Between SMS and App
You can change your Two-Factor Authentication method anytime from your magnum account settings. If you switch from SMS to an authenticator app, we disable SMS codes and show you the new QR code to scan. If you switch back to SMS, the app codes stop working.
We allow only one Two-Factor Authentication method active at a time to prevent confusion. Choose whichever method fits your routine — both are equally secure on magnum.
Two-Factor Authentication During Deposits and Withdrawals
Two-Factor Authentication strengthens your magnum account during both deposit and withdrawal flows, especially when using e-wallets or bank accounts.
Deposit Flow with Two-Factor Authentication
When you deposit via local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment, magnum asks for your Two-Factor Authentication code after you confirm the amount. This confirms that you initiated the deposit — not an attacker who gained access to your account. We verify your code before redirecting you to the e-wallet or payment gateway.
For bank virtual-account deposits (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment), we show you your assigned account number and ask you to transfer funds from your own bank account. When we detect the incoming transfer, we may ask for a Two-Factor Authentication code to match it to your magnum profile. This extra step prevents accidental deposits to the wrong account.
Withdrawal Flow with Two-Factor Authentication
Withdrawals on magnum always require Two-Factor Authentication if you have it enabled. When you request a withdrawal to e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or a bank account, we ask for your second factor. Enter your SMS code or authenticator app code, and we process your withdrawal request.
We may also hold your withdrawal under review if we detect unusual activity — for example, a withdrawal to a new bank account or a much larger amount than usual. In those cases, we email you and ask you to confirm your identity. This review window exists to protect your funds; we release the withdrawal once you verify.
What to Do If You Lose Your Phone or Authenticator App
If your phone is lost, stolen, or damaged, or if you uninstall your authenticator app, you lose access to your Two-Factor Authentication codes. You cannot log in to magnum until you regain access or disable Two-Factor Authentication.
Recovery Steps
When you set up Two-Factor Authentication on magnum, we provide you with recovery codes — a list of single-use backup codes. Save these codes in a secure location (not on your phone). If you lose your authenticator, you can use one recovery code to log in and disable Two-Factor Authentication or set up a new method.
If you do not have recovery codes or have used them all, contact magnum support through our website or email. We verify your identity using your email address and security questions. Once confirmed, we can temporarily disable Two-Factor Authentication so you can access your account again.
Setting Up a Second Device
We recommend registering a backup authenticator app on a second device — a tablet, laptop, or a trusted family member's phone (if you share devices). If your primary phone fails, you can still generate codes from the backup device and access your magnum account.
Recovery codes are your lifeline. If you lose both your primary device and your recovery codes, account recovery becomes difficult and time-consuming.
Two-Factor Authentication Works with All magnum Payment Methods
Whether you deposit or withdraw using e-wallets (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment) or bank virtual accounts (online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment), Two-Factor Authentication applies equally. Our system does not treat one payment method as more secure than another — all flows require your second factor if you have enabled it.
Players in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, and Yogyakarta all use the same Two-Factor Authentication standard on magnum. Regional payment preferences do not affect security.
Best Practices for magnum Two-Factor Authentication
- Save your recovery codes. Write them down or store them in a password manager. Do not keep them only on your phone.
- Use an authenticator app if possible. Apps are faster than SMS and do not depend on text-message delivery delays.
- Keep your phone secure. Use a device PIN or biometric lock. Do not leave your phone unattended in public.
- Update your phone number. If you change phone numbers, update your phone on magnum before your old number is reassigned to someone else.
- Register a backup device. Set up authenticator codes on a second device or tablet so you can access your account if your primary phone fails.
- Do not share your codes. magnum staff will never ask for your Two-Factor Authentication code. If someone requests it, they are attempting to steal your account.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication
You can disable Two-Factor Authentication anytime from your magnum account settings. We ask you to provide your current Two-Factor Authentication code to confirm you own the account, then we remove the requirement from your login and withdrawal flows.
If you disable Two-Factor Authentication, your account becomes less protected. We recommend keeping it enabled, especially if you deposit regularly or hold a balance on magnum.
Two-Factor Authentication Keeps Your magnum Account Secure
Two-Factor Authentication is one of the strongest tools available to protect your magnum account. By requiring a second verification step — either an SMS code or an authenticator app code — we ensure that only you can log in and access your funds, even if your password is compromised.
We recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication for all magnum players, whether you use online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank virtual accounts. The process takes less than a minute to set up, and the security benefit far outweighs the small inconvenience of entering a code each time you log in.
If you have questions about Two-Factor Authentication or run into trouble enabling it, our support team is available through the FAQ page or by contacting us directly. We can walk you through the setup process and help you regain access if you lose your device.
